Taco Spaghetti
This is a super simple dish that the entire family will love it takes 30 minutes in total and it can usually last my family 2 meals.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1.5 pounds of ground beef
- 1 pack of taco seasoning (1oz)
- 2 cans (14oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of Tony Chachere’s Cajun seasoning (ALL TIME FAV)
- 2 cups of water
- 1 pack of spaghetti (16oz); uncooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- (optional) fresh parsley, chopped
Steps
1
add onion, garlic and ground beef to a large pot (make sure the pot will be able to hold all the ingredients). Break the ground beef up until it is all separated and fine. Cook until brown. Make sure you drain the excess fat from the pot. (if lifting to drain is to hard you can use the paper towel method to make things a bit easier)
2
Now for the fun stuff! Add the taco seasoning, both cans of diced tomatoes, Tony Chachere’s, and water. Make sure everything gets mixed up real nice (like your granny is watching over you and you better get it right). Then, add spaghetti, you may need more water to cover the noodles, if you do save one can of the diced tomatoes and fill it with water and add that water to the pot till the water is covering the noodles. Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to low and cover the pot with a lid. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Make sure you stir the spaghetti to avoid it sticking to the bottom of the pan. Cook until spaghetti is done (Al dente is my favorite for this dish).
3
Remove lid, cook for a few minutes more so that the mixture thickens, (liquid evaporates). Turn off the heat.
4
Add in the shredded cheadder cheese. then cover the pot with the lid again and let the melty goodness happen. This is where you can add the chopped parsley.
5
Plate the Taco spaghetti and enjoy! Hope you enjoy this as much as my family and i do!
