Some of these books my be older but that doesn’t mean they’re not enjoyable hopefully you’ll dive into these and find something you absolutely adore! Most of these books include Winged Characters and are almost all fantasy or Science Fiction. Please check the trigger warnings for these books as well as the age rating, some of these could be considered YA Fantasy or YA Science Fiction but include sexual themes. Just a heads up before you dive into a different kind of fantasy that isn’t always appropriate for everyone. Thank you again for stopping by and Have a Wonderful Saturday!

ACOTAR
by Sarah j. Maas
This is a series near and dear to my heart, it got me out of a reading slump I’ve been in for years. Some may say that the first book is very hard to get through and I can understand that. About halfway through the book Sarah J. Maas captivated us with an amazing FMC (Female Main Character) and inspires us to stay strong in some of the toughest situations. All I can say is give this series a chance I absolutely adored every moment of these books and resonated with the characters and some of my own mental health struggles I’ve had over the years. If you’ve been wanting to get back into reading I highly recommend this series! Villains and Virtues
by A. K. Caggiano
This three part series is the SLOWEST burn i’ve ever read but when i tell you it was worth the wait and the two MC (Main Characters) in this series are the cutest, well as cute as a demon spawn can be! She’s his exact opposite bubbly, blonde, adorable, he catches feelings which he believes that demon spawn are uncappable of love. Follow this Hilarious journey and watch what happens when opposites attract. Trust me when I say it is so worth the wait. ( All credit goes to the author A. The Mortal Instruments
by Cassandra Clare
Take a journey through the Eyes of Clary Fray, she’s 15 and just witnessed a murder by three teenage boys with strange tattoos and weapons she’s never seen before. This 6 book series is one I read before I left for the Army and i believe the last book in this series was released right before I left. Cassandra Clare has done a wonderful job of capturing all the characters in these books and made me find different ways to love each. This is a turbulent journey through ups and downs and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I recommend giving this one a shot it just might become one of your all-time favorites as well. I will leave you with my top 5 for now, try and post regularly in my book recommendation page so there will always be more books for you too read. I just wanted to give you all a little insight into some of my favorite series. Each of these has a special place in my heart and i read them at different chapters in my life and unbeknownst to me each story i related to in my own way at that time. ACOTAR- a time when my mental health was at its lowest and Nesta made me feel like i wasn’t alone. The Mortal Instruments- The biggest changes and battles in your life help shape who you are and even if the outcome wasn’t what you were expecting doesn’t necessarily make it bad. Throne of Glass- I to could rise from the ashes and take control of my mind and body. I am a strong woman and can keep my head up even in the darkest of times. I hope these books find you at the right time in your life and help you push past an obstacle that you may be facing even if it is your own mind. Thank you as always for taking time out of your day to be here!
